This past Saturday we were honoured to host the partners of our Gold Star members — those with 25+ years of service — on a mystery bus trip in my volunteer role with the Kaitaia Fire Brigade.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs S for opening her beautiful gardens to us and allowing me to host a little floral moment 🌸 I loved encouraging the ladies to create their own petite corsages to wear to that evening’s celebration — a small touch and something none of them had experienced before.

Grateful to be be able to give back to those partners of such dedicated firefighters ❤️🚒
