Amazing recognition for Rachel and all she has achieved with Celebrants Aotearoa 💚
How lucky we are at Celebrants Aotearoa to have had Rachel Clarke on our National Executive for six years: two years as vice president and the past three as our president. As the end of her term came to a close, we celebrated Rachel at this month's conference, presenting her with this gorgeous kākahu, in recognition of everything she has achieved for Celebrants Aotearoa.
Rachel's legacy includes extending the excellent relationship with key stakeholders including the Registrar-General Russell Burnard at Births, Deaths and Marriages, the Funeral Directors' Association, and other relevant organisations.
Her passion for people and supporting other celebrants saw her travel the country post-Covid. She provided advice and a sounding board for celebrants so they could improve their practice and be successful, and Rachel's eye for detail has meant that she has seen opportunities to streamline processes too.
