DJ Phil started mixing up the party hits in western southland in 1990 at various functions and country taverns under the Logo Banner of the classic hits DJ .

Over the 90s and into the 2000s Phil kept the classic hits banner playing such gigs as Molloy O gradys Kelvin hotel Forest Lodge hotel Longford tavern and many function and weddings in the Southern region of the South Island New Zealand

In 2004 a rebrand was chosen DJ Phil@parties&pubs since 1990 was launched this logo has kept Phil busy and recently DJ Phil is now using the Logo of DJ Phil premier DJ wedding entainment filling up Dance floors since 1990 .
