May has been a wild ride….. 🌸
Mother’s Day and school balls have kept us very busy and we are looking forward to giving our tired hands a wee rest over the long weekend.
Winter has definitely made its way into the flower world, less variety which means higher prices but we see the return of the longer lasting flowers like orchids, proteas and chrysanthemums which are great to have in your home as they don’t mind a warm environment.

The sun was just rising as we packed up the Amby car on Monday to head up to Stoneridge Estate in Queenstown.
Our beautiful couple had flown in from the US to get married and it was so lovely to meet the bride and see her reaction when I handed over her bouquet.
I guess we take the landscape for granted living here but talking to one of the Bridesmaids, who had never been to New Zealand, it reminded me how beautiful our country is and how lucky we are to live here
