Congratulations, you have decided to take the step to marriage and are now in the planning stage and looking to choose a celebrant. I am a Howick resident of many years, married with three grown up children and seven (soon to be eight)grandchildren, whom I adore and feel far too young to be their grandmother. I have a passion for theatre and have directed, choreographed and acted in many musicals

and plays Auckland wide. After many years of attending ceremonies of all kinds and knowing that it was something I want to do I made the leap to train as a celebrant and become registered as a marriage and civil union celebrant. My role as a celebrant is to guide you both through the most important part of your wedding day – your commitment to each other and the knowledge that we have created a lasting special memory of your day that you share with your loved ones. I will create a ceremony that is unique to you – a ceremony that is in keeping with the style you want and relaxed, simple, elegant, intimate, personal, fun and memorable. Together we will combine our ideas to design a ceremony which will reflect your declaration of love and commitment. Whether it is a traditional wedding, or something creative, simple or informal, and even outrageous I offer a personal service and would help you every step of the way. New Zealand marriage legalities – I will answer all your questions. As a member of CANZ and holding the VCANZ qualification to officiate registry wedding I have an ongoing commitment to a high level of professionalism and ongoing education and professional development. Hope everyone's New Year has started off well.

I am looking for a Waiheke Island based hair and makeup stylist for just myself and possibly two others on 7 March 2026.

Preferably one stylist to do both the hair and makeup.

Today was a day that will always remain with me.

I have been a celebrant for funerals and marriages for over 12 years and this day was truly special.

I conducted a funeral for a much-loved woman who touched so many lives through her family, her work as a teacher, and her friends.

She was piped into the Chapel, which was overflowing with people and love.

The singing and tributes were with tears and memory smiles.

She was piped out and honoured with an amazing haka.

I came away from the service feeling very humble but also feeling proud that I had a small part in helping the family and friends heal.

Then, this afternoon I married a wonderful couple with their family as witnesses. There was true love and specialness and lots of laughter with their wedding.

A day of contrasts, but with a familiar theme - love and family.

Today one of my weddings was a lovely couple who brought their beautiful 9 week old baby girl Chloe with them. I have just received this message from them - made my day.

Lovely morning. Owen and Vineta shared their wedding ceremony with family and friends at my home. As it was a bit damp underfoot we chose the deck area as the ceremony spot.

Lots of smiles, laughter and happiness. And to have the marriage blessed was extra special for everyone.
