Sometimes I scream at the sky because loving you did not stop when your heartbeat did.
Because missing you is too big to hold quietly inside my chest.

Sometimes the hurt comes in waves so strong I cannot outrun it.
It settles into my bones, into ordinary moments, into the silence that follows laughter.

There are days I carry you gently.
And there are days grief drags me to my knees.

But every ache, every tear, every whispered conversation with the sky comes from the same place
a love that never learned how to stop loving you.

I think that is the cruelest and most beautiful part of grief.
The pain exists because the love still does.
