Long tables, golden candlelight, and lemons on everything. 🍋

That glass on the menu card? It's there because the wind had other ideas.

Nobody will ever notice it, becuase it was put back in its rightful place before the guests entered the marquee. The guests will read their menu, enjoy their dinner, and tell the couple how beautiful everything looked.

That's the thing about a good day-of coordinator. The best work is the stuff nobody sees:

🥂 The menu that didn't blow away
🌧️ A rain shower arrived at 2:45pm. Plan B was in place and the guests never knew there was a Plan B.
⏰ The timeline that quietly got reshuffled
💐 The sound check that happened not once, but twice.

Couples often tell me afterwards, "It all just ran so smoothly." Yes, it did. That's the job. It wasn't a day where nothing went wrong. It was a day where someone experienced was making sure it didn't feel like it did.

Your mum shouldn't be wrangling the bridal party. Your best man shouldn't be chasing the DJ. Your sister shouldn't be moving the chairs from the ceremony to the marquee in her new dress and heels.

Why experience matters when choosing your event planner....

Anyone can make a timeline. Not everyone knows what to do when the timeline falls apart.

A vendor is stuck in traffic. The weather turns as the guests are arriving. Nana needs a seat in the shade. The speeches are running long and the kitchen is waiting.

With over 25 years in events, I can tell you that something always shifts on the day. What matters is that you never see it happen.

An experienced planner brings:

✨ Vendor relationships. When you need a favour, a fix or a faster answer, a trusted network makes it happen.

When the DJ and the saxophonist team up, you know the dance floor is about to go off. 🎷🕺 S&E's wedding was proof, full house, big energy, and moves that definitely need to be seen to be believed. This is the part of the night we live for: when all the planning melts away and it's just pure joy on the dance floor.

Nothing beats a good live sax riff dropping mid-song and watching the whole crowd lose it.

Wedding season is nearly here, and I'm loving getting lost in the little details again — the ones that make each ceremony feel unmistakably theirs. A hand-tied posy of ceremony flowers. A small reserved sign on a chair, waiting for someone special. Petals ready to shower the newlyweds. And, of course, the car that will carry the bride to the moment everyone's been waiting for.

It's these tiny touches that turn a ceremony into a memory. Can't wait for what this season brings. 💍✨
