Living up to her name with the other bumble…

She’s a pretty one, with exceptional vase life for a dahlia. I thought I’d lost her but nay hooray!!!

Look at this keeper from Florets collection of Petite Floret seeds!
I imported these from the US to Canada to NZ…
Grew from seed
Grew to Bebe plants
Then planted out….
All with the knowledge that the seed gene characteristics won’t be true to the parent plant (only the tuber will determine this). It will be partly reliant on the environmental factors chosen by Floretflowerfarm (isolation and netting of chosen parents).
Growing dahlia from seed means the genes are mostly up to the pollinators… unless they’re in a strict, netted environment.
I basically knew that they would be within a certain colour palette and shape (anemone/single/frill).

This one is a keeper I think you’ll agree?

Snapdragons

They are the divas in the garden at the moment!
Cherry pink, soft lemony yellow, pure white, green white, pillowy pink blush….

All grown from seed onsite.
