Flowers can seem so indulgent at a time when such unimaginable suffering is happening in the world.

I imagine this is a constant brain battle for creatives who give a s**t about humanity. Questioning where their work fits in such a f*d world with such insurmountable problems.
Without getting deep into the politics of it here, I hope these images will bring some joy. Mostly because I know I need it! So you may too…

Also as some of you may know I’ve had a temporary break from growing this year. This is so that I can focus on our new space, which is coming along nicely, albeit slowly. Garden design is a patience game.

So I’m reflecting on images from last year.
