The tomatoes in the vegy garden have been very prolific this season. I’ve been making lots of batches of roast tomato sauce to use over winter in stews, mince dishes (lasagna, spaghetti bolognaise etc) and on pizzas. It’s so easy to make and you can customise it to your own tastes. Recipe in comments

The sun is shining today and it is so lovely to see it again!
In between Saturday sport’s, today is about finally planting my garlic. This year I’m planting them in pots to get them established before planting in the vegetable garden. I hope this will get them off to a good start
