The tomatoes in the vegy garden have been very prolific this season. I’ve been making lots of batches of roast tomato sauce to use over winter in stews, mince dishes (lasagna, spaghetti bolognaise etc) and on pizzas. It’s so easy to make and you can customise it to your own tastes. Recipe in comments

The sun is shining today and it is so lovely to see it again!
In between Saturday sport’s, today is about finally planting my garlic. This year I’m planting them in pots to get them established before planting in the vegetable garden. I hope this will get them off to a good start

All this flowery goodness will be on the flower cart tomorrow morning (Monday 21st Jan).
Unfortunately I had some vandalism of the cart just prior to Christmas so I'm pondering the future of my flower business. However I would like to say a big thank you to all my loyal customers and those of you who have been in touch wanting to know when the cart will be out again. You make it all worth while.

My favorite pink rose is flowering beautifully at the moment.
This is 'My Mum' available from Matthews nursery. I highly recommend it as it's very healthy and flowers all season.

I was so excited to receive these photos from a wedding earlier this season. It's always so exciting seeing my brides all dressed up and the flowers doing their thing.

Details from a large bouquet that went out today.
The rain has been making it difficult to keep quality high and stay dry but there are still lots of fabulous flowers coming out of the flower farm.

These have lots of buds and will last for ages. The very long stems are going to make it hard for me to put them on the flower cart tomorrow morning (Monday 26th Nov).
