It was great to be a part of Waikato125 - a day to celebrate women in the Waikato who embody the values of those women who led the suffrage movement, as well as commemorating those women who campaigned and won the right for women to vote in parliamentary elections.

Each of the 125 nominated women left with a Koru, designed by Waikato high school students
