FALSE‼️ 💣
One of the comments we hear frequently is that New Zealand doesn't have many living veterans remaining... and this couldn't be further from the truth.
While the exact number is not known, it is estimated that there are around 140,000 living veterans of military service in New Zealand - with over 60,000 having been created since 1990.
Every day there are New Zealanders that put on a uniform and are prepared to do whatever is needed in service of their country. The RSA is here to ensure that when they need support, they don't need to fight to get it.
This month the RSA is conducting its Annual Poppy Appeal. The funds are used to deliver support services across the country and ensure help is available for New Zealand's veterans and their whānau, wherever and whenever they need it.
