A gorgeous wedding in Manutuke, Gisborne for Robyn and Aaron who were living overseas at the time. Their attention to detail and regular communications helped me to ensure that their ceremony was personalised to their needs.
I enjoyed this wedding because after officiating the ceremony, I offered my assistance serving drinks at the bar 🍸 This was so hardcase as I had never served an alcoholic beverage in my life. It was a great learning experience how to make espresso martinis, feijoa and vodka sprits and gin and tonics 😂 Robyn the bride made sure we had all the recipes available to us. It was a fun night that's for sure as my friends Lorna, Alan and I served the guests.

Tēnā rā koutou katoa, its been a while since I've posted here due to life being busy. As a celebrant, it truly is an honour to witness the amazing creativity, strength, and aroha between many couples and their whānau.
This is a photo of my husband and I with our Mum, three daughter's and two mokopuna. We celebrated our beautiful Mum on her 80th birthday earlier this year.
I love my family with all our amazing gifts and imperfections. We have had many struggles, losses and hardships, but we continue to grow and learn, and believe in the best in each other. My heart is filled with gratitude as I reflect on what brings me joy; my faith, my whanau and whakapapa, and serving our hapori in our beautiful Tairawhiti. "Aroha mai, aroha atu" (love received, love returned). 💜💙🩷

Christine was absolutely magnificent! From the beginning to the end, Christine made us feel comfortable, relaxed and well looked after. She invested time in getting to know us, she communicated with us often and kept us up to date, she also gave us plenty of tips and advice for our ceremony which we hadn’t thought of. Our ceremony was personalised and special, and we appreciated Christine including her knowledgeable te reo Māori & karakia. Couldn’t recommend Christine any more! Wedding Review: "Chris made us feel welcome and heard on the first meeting, she was welcoming, friendly and bubbly which makes all the difference for your big day! We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant. Chris kept in contact the whole way through even right up to the wedding which made us both feel relaxed. Would definitely recommend Chris. Review: ""Amongst all the decisions to be made by the Bride and Groom to be, choosing the right Celebrant has to be at the top of the list" well so it seems. For us, Christine was referred to us by a whanau member and from the initial hui we knew we found someone who we could relate to and was very accommodating to the new environment we were entering into. As time had lapsed, the day fast approaching and with the pressure of everything building, we took comfort in knowing that our celebrant was secured and the hard work made easy was done.

Review: Christine was a fantastic celebrant for our wedding. She was very professional and took the time to get to know us and our story. Christine helped us create a ceremony that was relaxed, unique and meaningful to us. She made sure that everything went smoothly on the day and helped us feel at ease. We would absolutely recommend Christine to anyone who is looking for a celebrant.'
