Happening this week at Corstorphine Community Hub .
Sounds like great, inclusive and free activities at the hub

Are the kids bored? We are having a hub fun day at the hub This Tuesday 18th April 11am-1.30pm.
Do you like fossils, bones, rocks and milk-shakes.
Maybe Lego or a countdown farm build.
Don't wear good clothes. You might get a bit mucky.
Shhhh kids..........there's chocolate.
All children need to have a support adult.
See you there.

For those who are interested Dunedin City Council have a survey available about a zero carbon future

With multiple options on what you wish to comment on it is important people in our community share their views. What their current barriers may be and also how they would like future work in Ōtepoti/Dunedin

It takes less than 5 minutes to do and could really shape the future for our council on what the people want

👏

Want to help shape the Zero Carbon future of our city?
Don’t forget to take part in the survey, it closes this Sunday.

A reminder that Pātaka Ora also host community meals (mostly each week) which anyone is encouraged to attend and enjoy!
They also have a link on their page if anyone is able to volunteer or provide some pantry items .

I think we all understand the cost of living is rising and initiatives like this should be upheld and shared to all those in the community who can help

🙏🙏

The latest craze to hit our community is the wonderful

The Bowling Club - Dunedin

Offering CHEAP and free (for those who need assistance) meals in our community.
No judgement, dine in and take away options available and a new menu each week (along with some favorites like Mac and Cheese).
Please go along and support this wonderful community eatery -

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Stewart Newton. He was a member of the original team who were involved in the formation of the SD hall trust. If you've visited our hall You will have noticed the drawings on the lounge wall acknowledging his commitment to age concern. He owned newton's coaches and was a well-known leader. He was a part of the trust that was set up for the SD hall. He was one of the age concern delegates for a long time

Our thoughts go to his family and loved ones at this difficult time and we thank him for all his services
