I’ve recently been made aware that some of my original You’ve Been Served Catering menus, wording, and even design layouts are being copied and reused. Just to be clear I haven’t sold my business. I’ve kept You’ve Been Served Catering because I fully intend to return to the district in the future.

I put years of work, creativity, and originality into building my brand, and I’m proud of what I created. It’s great to do your own thing in this industry, but make sure it’s YOUR own thing not someone else’s hard work.

I’ll continue to protect my business and the content I created, and I look forward to bringing the real thing back when I return ✌️

With a heart full of gratitude (and a few dramatic tears), I’m sharing that my family and I are relocating to Christchurch. With this change means the closing of You’ve Been Served Catering and I won’t be taking any future bookings.

Serving Dannevirke has been the wildest, warmest, most wonderfully chaotic ride. You trusted me with your biggest moments, your hungriest crowds, and your “just one more tray, please” emergencies. You kept me baking, roasting, laughing, and occasionally questioning why I ever thought 200 mini quiches was a reasonable idea. But honestly? I wouldn’t trade a single second.

Thank you for embracing You’ve Been Served Catering with open arms, open hearts, and open mouths. This community has fed my soul far more than I ever fed your events, and leaving is truly bittersweet.

Dannevirke will always be home in our hearts as we head into our next chapter.

So for now, Dannevirke - You’ve been served, and I’m endlessly grateful you let me serve you.
