A sunny October wedding at this whimsical wedding venue . I felt fortunate to officiate the marriage of this beautiful couple, and was able to perform my first handfasting. There is something spiritual and magical about this tradition and I love the concept of the pulses pressed together, bound together then stepping back to create the infinity knot, which mirrors the cross of the hands 🤲 with the bonus of a cool keepsake 💛

This is the perfect day that came to a patient couple, with multiple postponements and planning with flexibility, this couple showed such resilience and continued to exude positivity throughout. It was my absolute pleasure to pronounce them as husband and wife at this private estate, and they certainly got the loudest cheer ever from their friends and family which just goes to show how much love and support surrounds them.

What a wedding to kick off 2022. Located at the stunning Tawharanui lodge, this was the first Navy wedding I have been apart of and according to the groom it was a low key version, but what an impressive sight. The contrast of the white uniform against the beautiful blue skies was almost as magnificent as the bride and groom passing through the sword arch. What a memorable experience I feel so fortunate to be apart of.

Friday last week was eventful to say the least, but no lockdown, earthquakes or Tsunamis were going to stop this determined couple from getting married. It was my first lockdown wedding and what a beautiful wedding it was. Had all the right ingredients for their dream wedding including a sunny day, garden setting, two of their closest family members and this gorgeous flower girl 😍
