Wow it has been a beautiful day here today and we have had a group of 80 instrument players vocalists and a plethora of tech people etc create three different songs in our garden and I had no idea how much effort etc goes into producing this
On a different 🎵😅 we have decided to open up our garden this weekend on Friday and Sunday from 10am in our penultimate opening days until October
Garden entry is $10 cash pp with children under 12 free
If you can't make it this weekend we are planning on having our final open day on Mother's Day 😊 weather permitting

Well this past week has been busy and with some challenging weather earlier in the week but fortunately it didn't affect a surprise 50th birthday party on Sunday and a garden group visiting with lunch on Wednesday
Always nice to receive feedback from visitors to our garden and have attached their message in the first of a few pictures attached 😊

Our current project aka our Italian Grotto etc is slowly taking shape and over half way now and really looking forward to getting the archway done this week to frame the statue which will have some water trickling down from top to bottom of same
Excited to get the finishing touches completed in next few weeks as it will really showcase the design etc

I really enjoy the addition to our garden of our bespoke mirror and think it is good to get a photo in same but it's not that easy to do and keep the camera out of the picture

Hosted a birthday party celebration this afternoon and put on some afternoon tea refreshments in what I think is a lovely place to enjoy eating and relaxing with family and friends

Celebrating our 5th year on Facebook. Thank you to all of our followers that have grown to almost 4K and we appreciate your support We have been amazed at how far we have come from just before COVID until today with so many changes and improvements to our lovely garden and we hope you have enjoyed our journey and we look forward to more exciting progress in the next 5 years
Lastly yesterday we both had the day off to celebrate Jeanette's birthday and our 39th wedding anniversary 🙏🤗🎉❤️

As can be seen in our Italian Cypress tree avenue it is looking more and more like a Tuscan landscape than a Kiwi one and that is thanks to the hot and dry weather we have had for a while now but it is nice to see flowers still providing lots of colour

Having lots of beautiful flowers in the garden combined with an amazing wife who loves to put together a nice floral display results in this vase of flowers that we earlier today placed on a table setting for a small birthday lunch celebration

We were recently happy to have Matty and Ella celebrate getting married here and I like to consider our garden is quite romantic and so it was great to see how beautifully Ever Lasting Photography captured lovely photos of them on their special day 💘

Recently we had an open day and was also running a small competition for visitors to take photos of anything as subjects to showcase our garden and these are some of the images that were presented by Nina Ruth Anna Clare and Karen Stephenson and who were drawn as winners for the three prizes up for grabs and we would like to congratulate them for winning and allowing us to post some of their beautiful photos and we look forward to hosting them for afternoon tea refreshments etc soon 😊

Love and Romance was in the garden literally today on Valentine's Day as we were busy hosting a wedding photoshoot followed by a wedding ceremony and photos for another group and to finish the "Amore" we had couples come and bring their own BYO nibbles and bubbles to celebrate with each other and so that left no time for Jeanette and me so I have promised that we will do it next week 💘

We recently had an open day for visitors to our garden and in conjunction we were running a little competition for photos taken in our garden with 3 prizes up for grabs
Firstly I would like to thank everyone for coming out to Colyton and enjoying the beautiful weather and secondly I am now happy to advise that Nina Ruth was the winner in first place with Anna Clare second and third place was Karen Stephenson

Wow yesterday was a beautiful day here and just wanting to thank everyone who visited from near and far and just letting those visitors know that took the opportunity to take photos in our garden and would like to be in the running to win one of three prizes then we need you to like and follow our page ( if you haven't done already) and post up your pictures to your social media accounts and tagging us etc by no later than Sunday evening
We will announce the winners next week and a heads up to those romantics out there we are planning to have our venue open on the evening of Valentine's Day to BYO picnic - More details to follow
