Proud of all my sewists at this afternoon’s sewing workshop. Two dresses shortened, bodice and skirt personal fit finalised, conquered lame’ sewing and won the battle of bias cut satin! Wahoo!

As an experienced costumier I design and make specialty gowns as well as repair or adapt vintage apparel. These days I utilise that experience and knowledge for alterations and mending to clients favourite apparel and home furnishing items more so than costume work. And that suits me just fine.
