Good afternoon all, I’ll be at a costume event in Rotorua all next weekend so the shop will be closed Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July. Back open the following Friday as normal.

Just a quick reminder that I will be in Dunedin next weekend so will be closed on the Friday. I will have the lovely Lydia here on the Saturday for costume hire and alteration pick ups etc. 10-2pm. Back to normal on the 9th May.

As an experienced costumier I design and make specialty gowns as well as repair or adapt vintage apparel. These days I utilise that experience and knowledge for alterations and mending to clients favourite apparel and home furnishing items more so than costume work. And that suits me just fine. I also love teaching sewing to children and adults from beginners to advanced.
