I love weddings and love to help couples create a memorable ceremony for their big day. I live with my wife Rachel and son Fergus.

I am based in Christchurch but can cater for couples in the wider Canterbury area. Originally from Geraldine I have a connection with the rural Canterbury community and I am an active member of Dunsandel Young Farmers. Being a marriage celebrant gives me the opportunity to help young couples and creates an escape from my day job as an aircraft engineer. A real highlight of officiating weddings is seeing the great locations and venues around the country. In april I officiated for Courtney and Alex. They transformed a paddock just out of southbridge into a wonderful rural setting framed with pea straw bales.

Mathew and Amy had a wonderful location overlooking lake wanaka. Their ideas for the ceremony were great and made for a fantastic day! When thinking of ceremony ideas remember there is more than just the standard stuff out there. Mathew and Amy had me indroduce the bridal party and MC which broke the ice, made everyone relax and transitioned the ceremony to the rest of the evening nicely!
