Today also marks 2 years since I married Gemma & Coop. They too had a bit of Star Wars lore written into their story - getting engaged on the day Gemma finally finished watching all the Star Wars movies. Only fitting that they were married on May the Fourth.

Throwing it back to this epic Star Wars inspired first dance. A choreographed lightsaber duel! A reminder that your day can be authentically you - whatever that looks like! Sinead and Clint kept their day feeing fun, authentic, and entertaining, and all their guests had the best time!! They absolutely nailed it!!! I love revisiting this day, and May the fourth is a great opportunity to grab these pics out of the archives!

A midweek road-trip to stunning Takapō (Lake Tekapo), to marry two beautiful brides πŸ‘©πŸ»β€β€οΈβ€πŸ’‹β€πŸ‘©πŸ», surrounded by lupins as far as the eye can see? πŸͺ»Count me in! πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Throw in a whole lot of wind 🌬️ some sideways rain 🌧️ , a location change, and flagging down a nearby walker to be a witness and we’ve got ourselves an adventure!

In all seriousness, this gorgeous couple chose to elope here as their home country does not recognise same-sex marriage (boooooo πŸ‘ŽπŸ½), and with New Zealand being the first place they travelled together as a couple over 10 years ago, it was a no-brainer to come back here to be married! How good that NZ supports love in all its forms! Just the way it should be! πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ
But I also recognise there is still work to do - both here and internationally in this regard. And I am here for this mahi!

Weddings at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve really do hit different πŸŽ‰

Patting a llama before walking down the aisle?! πŸ¦™ yes please! A peacock squawking to interrupt the ceremony?! 🦚 Bring it on. Watching the spider monkeys having a ball?! 🐡 Count me in! πŸ₯‚

Man, this one was special! I first met Krystina & Johnny when our babies were in NICU together back in 2023. My wee boy was born in April, and their wee girl came along in August, and the two had neighbouring cots for a few days. Us māmās sat side by side - each doing skin-to-skin with our bub, and we got to know each other a little before our journeys home began.

How special to come full circle, and be involved in this very special wedding day?! Their day was sweet, intimate, funny, and so much fun to be involved in. Their two girls were the sweetest flower girls, and I got to share the mic with Johnny’s brother as he shared the couples love story with their guests in the most perfect way. All in all, a beautiful day πŸ₯°

Gosh I’m lucky to do what I do! I have the best job! πŸ₯°

I had the pleasure of marrying Kate & Norm last year at the beautiful in Queenstown! I was thrilled to be in involved in this special day. Kate is Linedance royalty in Australia, and as a linedancer myself (.christchurch), it was an honour to be the one to marry her to her lovely husband Norm.

They chose to have a destination wedding in NZ, and picked Queenstown and for its incredible beauty. Can you blame them?!

I can’t believe I haven’t posted any pics from this magnificent day until now! Such a fab time, (and a great excuse to sneak in a wee roadtrip!).

I had the absolute pleasure of marrying Caitlin & Glen a few weeks ago, at the beautiful , and I was thrilled when these pics arrived in my inbox πŸ’Œ. I’ve known Caitlin for several years through dancing (check out .christchurch ), and it so was great to get to know Glen in the lead up to their wedding too!

We had such a fabulous day celebrating this gorgeous couple, and I was lucky enough to stay on as a guest with my hubby. We did have to duck away to tend to the baby for a couple of hours, but we loved hitting the dancefloor until well into the night! My hubby helped with some of their getting-ready photos πŸ“Έ, and my father-in-law was in the band! A family affair through and through!

I was thrilled when these pics dropped into my inbox this week! I married Kat & Blake last year when I was almost 8 months pregnant with my little girl, and I was wearing one of only two dresses that fit!

Kat and Blake were so much fun to work with, and I loved being involved in their special day! Instead of table numbers, each table was named after the different streets they had lived on together. They had super fun DJs who were a breeze to work with, and they were married at the beautiful . I had an absolute blast with these guys!
