Papa Hou Black Box Theatre is The Kind Foundation's unique offering for corporate and community arts and events groups.

The Papa Hou Black Box Theatre is the jewel of The Kind Foundation's new facility on Rolleston Ave. This flexible space is ideal for all kinds of performance, including dance, theatre, circus and music โ€“ as well as being highly suitable for conferences, functions, weddings, balls etc. This expansive complex comprises of a large 405sqm black box space โ€“ featuring 180 movable and retractable seats,

a sprung wooden floor, and full light/sound grid and rig. There is an option of having some of Christchurchโ€™s finest street art on display around the walls, or the ability to fully cover up with black drapery. Also available are three smaller studio spaces, as well as a licensed bar/lounge/foyer area.
