It’s with mixed emotions that it’s time to say goodbye to the Oasis Hideaway. For the past 35 years Gilly has spent building the Oasis Hideaway into what it is today, but all good things must come to an end and the beach is calling our name. We have offical closed.
The first thing we want to say is THANK YOU. To our friends who came almost every week for a burger and a beer or even just to catch up. To all of our clients, customers who shared their weddings with us, birthdays, work parties. Our regulars and even the people who just stopped in once for a beer and a pizza. Everyone who came to our wild food nights and medieval nights. Everyone who ever had anything to do with our business, from the bottom of our hearts thank you. To our past and present staff, we could never had done it without you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
The Oasis Hideaway started as a cow shed on the back of our property and now it has had hundreds of functions and thousands of people come through our doors, each and every person helping shape the Oasis into what it has become.
Although we are sad to be shutting our doors we felt it was time to move on. The Oasis Hideaway is closed for business. We wish the new owners all the best in what they do with our little venue.
If you ever find yourself around Thames give us a shout, but for now, thank you!
