MEET THE TEAM: Kaiaka’s Cafe weekend wonder & entertainer - Viola ❤️ Songstress & Actress.
Our favourite Italian (sorry Marco!) is leaving us tomorrow for Victoria university to do a cojoint degree: global studies & law. (Dream = international law & diplomacy.)
Italian born she moved here aged 7 from Levanto- north of the cinque terre, a kinda European style Marlborough.

- How did you come to find yourself in the Kaiaka world? My parents had their Minghettis pizza trailer at the previous Kaiaka location & I was keen for a school job and some cafe skills!

-So what skills did you learn?
Deeper knowledge of customer service, how to make coffee + being part of a large team with many different roles and jobs

- Your favourite food? Pizza or Sushi

- What’s a dish or food from Kaiaka that you think people should try?
Risotto cakes! Those are delicious! Especially the mushroom & halloumi ones

- What’s your favourite musical?
Beatle juice

Why Kaiaka?
Huia & Sander. I started at the Central location & I have enjoyed how they both pull the team together.
The welcoming vibe the team gave me when I first started & continue to!

Viola, creating our well loved Kaiaka culture since Jan ‘22 ❤️ We’re going to miss her! We hope she comes back in school holidays! 🤞
