The countdown is on for this year's Future of Work Marlborough - a fun, inspiring event for rangatahi to explore a wide range of careers and industries, connect with employers, discover training and study options, and get ideas and inspiration. With over 80 exhibitors there will be something for everyone!

Come along to the Marlborough Events Centre between 3pm and 6pm for the wonderful Whānau Session and explore the opportunities together.

Bring your young person along with the whānau to explore what’s possible in the Future of Work.

Future of Work is a free 1-day expo designed to help rangatahi discover pathways into university, trades, and local industries. Whether they have a clear plan or no idea what’s next, this is a chance to get informed, ask questions, and feel inspired.

How the day works:

10am–3pm – School groups attend during the day
3pm–7pm – Open to all young people and their whānau

The afternoon session is for anyone who wants to come along — including those not in school, learning in different ways, or keen to return with family and explore more together. Everyone is welcome.

Connect with representatives from universities and meet local employers from 40+ industries, all in one place. It’s a great opportunity to have real conversations about study options, training, and career pathways right here in Marlborough or further afield.

Free entry, all welcome — plus there are some great prizes to be won.
