- CHANGE OF VENUE -

Visiting experience the Ice Skate Tour will now be held at Marlborough Event Centre due to a poor weather forecast for the region.

Originally planned for Liz Davidson Park this weekend, the event is moving indoors. It will be open as originally planned from Friday 23 - Sunday 25 January, 10am - 5pm daily.

The state-of-the-art, artificial ice rinks looks like ice and has almost the same gliding capacity as natural ice. It's surrounded by inflatable boarding and helmets and gloves are provided as part of the experience, for those without their own.

Each session is at least 30 minutes and costs just $2 per person. Socks are compulsory and the smallest skates are size 10.
