Just a reminder about the event this Sunday. We've had some decent ticket sales but are aware of a lot of people who are intending to come but who haven't bought tickets yet. To help us prepare for the right numbers it really does help if tickets are bought online (just a few mouse clicks), rather than creating or waiting in a queue on the day and generally slowing everything down.

As the days are getting cooler and weather predictions for Sunday aren't great, we'll be holding the event over by the function centre where we can keep people warm and sheltered. Bring something warm to wear.

Our award-winning mulled wine and rum punch will also be on offer - make sure you have a sober driver available if you have more than two of these! Those who have sampled them before will understand the warning.

And another couple of events to round the summer off. We've now run two weddings, a funeral, a lunch and a bluegrass brunch since we opened in November 2020. A good start and a chance to bed in our new systems and learn from doing.

It's been quite busy with the building of the outside bar, refurbishing of the function centre, upgrading of the outdoor music system, gaining of liquor and food licenses, securing the finest beers and wines in the region, quality outdoor games, and training the initial team. Thanks to everyone who has supported Lauderdale so far.😎

First wedding of the year. Lovely couple and family/friends who made the most of that deluge on 2nd January. A third of our annual rainfall in a day!

Our latest addition - the new Lauderdale bar. Not a bad place for a pint. We're expecting this to get some use over the summer. Make a note of February 14th - our first Sunday Brunch with Bevan Climo playing his superb Bluegrass. This will run from 11am to 3pm. www.lauderdalenz.com
