Whitford Flower Farm is in its first year of growing for the wedding and edible flower market. Blooming at present are lavender, cornflowers, pansies, violas, borage, nasturtiums, dianthus, freesias, Irises, and calendula. Other summer varieties including scabiosa, chocolate cosmos, dahlias, amaranthus, bishops lace, grosso lavender and nigella will flower later in the season.
All grown without the use of harsh sprays :).

We will also be offering a range of products made from the flowers we grow.
The dried calendula petals are infused to make calendula oil. This oil is added to the soaps and creams we make at Whitford Flower Farm. Calendula oils healing properties speed up skin healing, reduce inflammation and pain, soothe and moisturize dry and chapped skin. It can also help heal scars, acne, reduce swelling and bruising and soothe insect bites.

The lavender is dried and used to perfume the soaps and creams. It is also sold in bags for use when making wheat bags. The Grosso lavender (one of the types we grow) has a very strong scent and a little goes a long way when used in products. The scent is relaxing and can help with sleep. The oil reduces muscle aches and has antiseptic qualities.

Message us if you would like to try our glycerine based soaps or carnauba wax based creams and salves. You can ask for preservative free creams. They will keep in the fridge for a few months.
