From across the ditch to the heart of Aotearoa! ✈️🇳🇿

Kiwi and Kirsty made the journey all the way from Australia, bringing with them a love story that was meant to be shared right here at home. They debated for a long time whether to tie the knot in Aus or NZ, but the pull of family won out. Bringing it back home meant their closest friends and family could witness their union, and it gave them the perfect chance to truly connect with the wider whānau.
It wasn’t just a wedding; it was a beautiful, powerful blending of love, culture, and family.

This was honestly one of the most emotional and breathtaking weddings I’ve ever had the honor of shooting. From the roaring laughter and the epic ch*****ne pops, to the deeply moving haka and the quiet, tender tears—every single moment was overflowing with pure joy and authentic love.
Capturing these raw, beautiful memories reminds me exactly why I do what I do. I absolutely love my job. 📸✨

Mānawatia a Matariki! Today marks the start of the Māori New Year, a time for reflection, new beginnings, and looking up at the stars. To capture this shot, we braved -5 degree temperatures out at Moke Lake in Queenstown, but let me tell you it was entirely worth it. Seeing the galaxy this clear and sharing such a breathtaking moment under the night sky with this amazing couple is what I love most about what I do. Wishing everyone a beautiful day of connection and stargazing.

To create this stunning light art under the Milky Way, I used the PT2C tube light, shooting wide on my EOS R6 Mark II with a 15-35mm lens. There is something truly magical about blending tech, art, and the natural night sky with an amazing couple. Wishing everyone a beautiful day of connection and stargazing!

Simple, elegant, and perfectly them. Tule and Asgar’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of quiet grace and island warmth. From the historic aisles of St. Matthew’s to celebrating by the ocean at Okahu Bay, the day was grounded in pure love and tradition. We are so incredibly happy to witness these two wonderful souls tie the knot alongside their closest family and friends.
