This month's title "An Assemblage" a challenging design, all well executed.
Our demonstrator Pat Murdoch gave us lovely designs showing her use of various sized balls she had created. Her various topiaries gave us ideas on how to use seeds, husks and pages from books.
An afternoon enjoyed by all.

This month's title "Tree-mendous" emphasis on using bark and or foliage and twigs.
Our demonstrator Christine Endean gave us a comprehensive explanation of various types of bamboo, ways to cut it and wonderful ways of designing with it. A very enjoyable and educational afternoon.

Our mid-winter event was a demonstration by Kathryn Simmonds, followed by a delicious homemade afternoon tea.
The demonstration title was "Inspiration" with Kathryn explaining what inspired her designs. A very successful afternoon that was enjoyed by many members of Auckland Area clubs and visitors.

some very nice designs emerged.

As yesterday was not our usual Club day, we were to go on a garden trip. However due to the inclement Auckland weather it was cancelled, and club day miraculously was held all due to the quick mastermind of several Committee ladies. They arrived with all sorts of artificial materials, glue guns, and a plan, the results, head and wrists bands all well executed and very eye-catching.

March Title "Autumn Abundance" a Cornucopia design.
Our workshop "Pave" tutored by Lorraine Usher got our brains working. We drew on paper, what we hoped our designs would look like completed in our container. Lorraine gave us a myriad of ideas and I think we all came up with lovely different Pave designs.

It's Twilight Christmas at the Howick Historical Village and our club ladies have made and decorated the old church, where a carol service will take place this evening, Saturday 7th December.

A wonderful day with lunch to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with our present President and past Presidents. The President of Auckland Area was in attendance along with many of our past members. The "Bubbles" and beautiful cake along with meeting up with "old" friends made the day. a lovely occasion.
