New Windsor Community Hub x Shaherbano’s Cooking Workshop

We decided it would be fun to teach Shami kebab because it’s hands on, great for meal prep, and of course very delicious!

I had the best time sharing some of my knowledge with the wonderful women attending the workshop. They were all great listeners too! It was a harmonious atmosphere and an experience I will cherish as my first workshop teaching.

Finally, thank you to Sarah & Celeste for their support in facilitating this and for all other amazing work they do for the community 🫶

I was never fond of shami kabab growing up. When I moved to Nz years back I missed my mum’s homemade cooking which led me to learn & experiment .
I started making shami kabab for lazy days,quick bites,lunches,tea time snacks etc. Never thought this to be my first item to sell. I’d make for friends and through word of mouth starting taking orders.
Here I am going to try and teach a few of you what I learnt with try&error. So come by and try a shami kabab..😋😊😋
