BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and used us for planning your parties but I am happy/scared/stressed/excited to announce that Robyn's Events is moving to New Zealand next month. So excited for our Christmas Eve Frozen parties tomorrow!!! If you still haven't bought a ticket you can buy on the door! £15 each, adults free and includes a gift, Elsa as your host, a disco, snow machine, snacks and refreshments. Head over to The Beck Community Centre in Kendal at either 12-1, 2-3 or 4-5 on the 24th December! :D

If anyone has time to read a rant here's mine:
The Netherwood's "Frozen Activity Day".
This is an event that I had organised, I had called the hotel in August to promote myself and see if they would be interested in using me for parties at Christmas time like many other venues have. Chris Fallowfield was the owner I spoke to and both her and her husband had never heard of Frozen, so they organised to meet with me on the 10th of August to talk about what I do.
They had only planned on having their usual Santa Day event but after our meeting they booked me in for both the Santa Day and I had planned out a new Frozen event for the 21st December. They agreed that it was an amazing idea that would make a lot of money. After booking me I planned the price each parent would pay, the whole day's layout, the décor, the activities we could do, prop ideas and located best priced balloon companies and printing businesses. I was later brought in for a follow up meeting about last details and bookings for the day were already coming in. I had turned down over 10 events for the two for them at a lowered price (I knew they would probably use my company again as everything had gone so well).
Then at the end of September I received an email stating "I have decided that we would prefer to do the two dates ourselves with our in house team, as we have two junior teachers who are CRB checked. We therefore regret to say that your services will not be required on those dates. We thank you for your time and effort, and hope to welcome you to Netherwood on another occasion. We wish you well for the coming season"
I received no phone call or payment for my time.
