Bathurst is on this weekend! 🏁

Back in April this year, a Bathurst-winning V8 Supercar came to downtown Auckland for an activation with Shaw and Partners New Zealand.

Event Base delivered the build using two SpaceCubes. One showcased the winning car, while the other became a racing simulator room. A custom truss canopy, flooring, lighting and branding brought it all together.

Craned in overnight and ready for visitors the following morning. A tight turnaround and a great effort from the Event Base crew.

Clocks have gone forward. Longer evenings are back.

Flashback to Mercury 's Ultimate Free Power Day activation at Synthony in March, a SPUR creation we proudly helped bring to life. Two SpaceCubes joined by deck and shade sail, arcade games and popcorn on one side, karaoke on the other.

People kept coming through from dusk until well after dark.

More sunshine hours mean more of these to come.

.nz first time exhibiting at . We made sure they were in good hands.

The build included a large-format branded pelmet, integrated retail flooring, printed internal walls, truss-mounted heating and lighting, plus a secure stockroom out the back.

We worked with our client to make sure their temporary retail environment delivered for them and their customers – a good example of what we can do beyond the standard event build – creating a great retail environment.

Event Base and SPACECUBE were proud to support Daffodil Day.

Last Friday a SpaceCube became the ANZ Donation Station - ZM's temporary studio at the base of the Sky Tower for the Daffodil Drop.

Thanks to ZM for the call, and to the team at Curious Nation for a space that turned heads all day.

Twelve hours on air. $72,380 raised for the Cancer Society.

We think our event structures are very fashionable in their own right so we felt right at home making an entrance at New Zealand Fashion Week 2026.

We proudly installed the events main entrance to Shed 10 - a 10x9m stretch roof with truss structure integrated seamlessly with the existing entrance providing the backdrop for arrival shots taken on the waterfront last week.

Great to work alongside Liam and the team at New Zealand Fashion week again, congratulations to you all.

A new home for XPENG in the Waikato.

We built this custom SpaceCube showroom for , creating a dedicated space for one of the newest automotive brands to arrive in New Zealand.

Modular doesn't mean off the shelf. This one was customised for , from the layout and finishes through to the details that bring the brand into the space.

The result - a purpose-built showroom to showcase the G6 electric SUV and X9 seven-seat electric MPV in the Waikato.

Designed, engineered and built by our crew, another great example of what our systems can become when the brief calls for something a little different.

We've worked alongside Makita New Zealand across multiple projects over the years, and our clients are a big part of what motivates and drives us.

Event builds will always have their tricky and unforeseen moments - it's how you work through them together and get things sorted that counts.

Custom truss structures, strong branding, product demos and a retail space that kept the crowds flowing at Fieldays 2026 in Mystery Creek.

A great result for Makita and another epic build delivered by the Event Base crew. 🏗️

Working with V Energy NZ, our custom SPACECUBE install at Go Media Stadium was always going to deliver a Legen-Dairy game day experience 🙌
Bold branding, premium sideline viewing, a standout barber shop and a custom retail fit-out brought the campaign to life. Up the Wahs 💙💚❤️
