Te Atatū Peninsula Community Centre A place for the community to come together and celebrate what is great about their neighbourhood!

Opened on the 15 November 2014 this multi-purpose facility houses a range of community programmes, spaces for hire and the library. Situated next to picturesque Jack Pringle Park the large glass doors and windows provide lots of natural light and the high ceilings give a real sense of space. Staff are committed to ensuring the facility is a destination hub where the community can come together to learn, grow, have fun and foster real community spirit.

Kia ora e te whānau,

We're excited to be hosting Food Together every Wednesday for the next 6 weeks, starting Wednesday 10 June, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM in the main foyer of Te Atatū Peninsula Community Hub.

Choose from a range of affordable fresh produce packs, including:
🥬 Māra Community Produce Pack
🍽️ Kai Box
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Whānau Box
🍊 Seasonal Fruit Boxes

Simply place your order online and collect your fresh fruit and vegetables from the Hub each Wednesday.

We’ve been creating a giant collaborative art piece made up of the different faces of all the tamariki, rangatahi, and community members who make this place so special. 🎨

Our canvas is almost finished, but there’s still time to be part of it!
If you want to add your face to the artwork, come find us in the foyer after school next Wednesday the 3rd of June from 3pm. ✨

🧵 Got a mending or upcycling project waiting at home? Don’t forget to bring it along next Tuesday 2 June, to our Make and Mend session with West Auckland Resource Centre!

Learn simple ways to repair, refresh, and reuse instead of throwing things away ♻️

The friendly team can help with:
✨ Patching & hemming
✨ Repairing seams on clothes, toys & soft furnishings
✨ Basic hand & machine mending skills

This is an adults only drop-in session from 10am–1pm.

All essentials are provided - thread, patch fabrics, tools & more!
(Feel free to bring specific fabrics or colours if needed.)
