The well awaited Tūī workshop!

Join me next Sunday at Leafy Hollow Lavender in Waiuku.
Sunday May 25th, 9.15am to 1.30pm

We need a little extra time to do this well-loved native bird justice.
Watercolour and Ink Pen 'Tūī and Flax' Workshop

We'll be exploring different techniques, in a step-by-step style.
All materials are provided for class.
Like all my workshop just relax, have fun and give it a go.
Morning tea included.

The lavender season has come to an end so now Leafy Hollow will only be open for group bookings and workshops - quite a few already in the diary. Please contact me if you would like to visit the shop and browse our range of natural, organic products.

The lavender has now been harvested for this season. Visitors are welcome to visit the shop between 11am and 4pm this weekend.
Come to try the testers, enjoy the fragrance and relax 😊

Leafy Hollow will be closed this weekend. I need to complete the lavender harvest and distillation before it's too late for the flowers.

Sorry - a small change of opening time tomorrow, Saturday. We'll be opening 12.30pm till 4pm.

We will be open on Saturday18th and Sunday 19th between 11am and 4pm. The lavender is beginning to fade which means it's time to harvest. Come along and see what we are up to - probably distilling the flowers for essential oil.
Looks like the Evening Primrose is the place to Bee today😃

Leafy Hollow will be open on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th, 11am till 4pm. Harvesting and distillation is ongoing now but there are still areas of lavender in full flower. If we are distilling you will smell the lavender oil as you walk up the driveway. Last weekend I had an unexpected visit from Ian Wilson, Garden Designer. He has a You Tube Channel and spent quite some time here asking questions and taking photos.

After many years of making such an excellent job of hosting our website, Inga from Anuko Websites has retired. This prompted me to take a fresh look at the way Leafy Hollow is evolving and adapting to change. I built this website to reflect these changes. There are still a couple of glitches to resolve but, on the whole, I am pleased with the result. I aim to produce a monthly newsletter so please subscribe if you would like to receive regular news and updates.

I've loved meeting new visitors over the Christmas period. The garden and shop will next be open Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th January. Happy new year to all our 'followers'. I just captured this rainbow moment - hope for a peaceful 2025?
