It's been a while...but glad my #8 (Raneel) and #9 (Shaan) are back on the field together for Blue Seals Sports at the 2026 New Zealand Gujarati Sports and Cultural Association Easter Football Tournament at Bill McKinley Park...
Sailesh is also coaching the Blue Seals B team this year...

A Valentine's Day like no others!
Had a fun time with my sister Geeta McCaughan putting this together for Preeti Vallabh and her parents' 50th wedding anniversary at The French Cafe in Symonds St 💞❤️🌹
Met the talented Sid Sahrawat and we were in awe of his amazing restaurants!
Hopefully we can go back again soon one day! 😁🙏🏼💙

This week's highlight was watching both our boys play cricket for Grafton United Cricket Club in the mid-week T20 Cricket Competition, with Shaan ( #21) playing for Premiers and Raneel ( #18) playing for Premier Reserves, on adjacent fields at the same time and thankfully both not out at the end! Here are some snaps from the evening!

Hi all,
Happy New Year and hope 2026 got off to a good start!
I've been offline for a while thanks to hackers, and a lack of response from Meta to help get me back online. Thanks to my family for helping me get this far! Still a work in progress...
I don't have access to my Instagram page yet, but hopefully that might change in a day or two.

This year, the Impressions family has been working hard over the last 3 weekends to transform the Auckland Indian Association Incorporated (AIAI)'s Mahatma Gandhi Centre for Navratri 2025 🕉🙏🏼🤍❤️💙💛🩶🧡💚🩷
The last couple of years have been really hard since losing our dearest Mum (Ba). Navratri has always been a special time of year for our family, and despite her health issues, we always took Ba to visit the mandir inside the hall. Then, without fail, we'd be in the kitchen to say hello to our family & friends, lend a hand, have some delicious food, & take some home to enjoy later!
A few weeks before we lost Ba, we also lost our dearest Jamna Mai ( Jamnaben Prema ; Ba's aunt/Foi)...who was the main chai maker for Navratri. It's not the same without both Jamna Mai & Ba there, but I feel them there with us 💙🙏🏼🩷
This year, I chose to hang some of Ba's colourful saris in the hall to honour her, some of which she wore to Navratri herself and some I couldn't bring myself to let go. Our marigolds & fairylights also hang from the mandir, so I hope that Ba & Mai love what we've put together this year.
I've loved seeing all the colourful outfits and people taking lots of photos, especially in our little Indian palace corner of the kitchen/dining area! 😄 We've been getting lots of compliments so far, so please, take your photos and tag us in 😁📸
