They say Khukuri has grown old. Let us be clear. A tiger never gets old.

This weekend, Football Club Khukuri, the oldest Nepalese football club in New Zealand, proved exactly who we are. Not with words, but on the ground. We proudly represented more than 60 players and fielded four teams from a single club. That alone tells the story.

This was a true collective effort. Every single player played their part, and every family member and friend stood behind us. We won all three games. Our juniors were clinical and fearless. This is what the future of Khukuri looks like. Our masters showed experience and pride. This is what our past looked like, the very team that lifted the trophy last time. And our senior men’s team, hungry, focused, united, showed why this is the strongest version we have ever had. That mindset is what brought the trophy home.

Our supporters were everywhere. Cheering from the terrace, from the sidelines, and backing us online. This is who we are. Thank you to our families, our wives, partners, kids, friends, and every supporter who stood with us. This trophy belongs to you as much as it belongs to us.

This win is for every single one of you.

And this is not the end. This is just the beginning. We slowed down for a moment, we acknowledge that. But we recharged, and we came back. And we are coming back stronger. We will always look to grow our family and expand our squad. If you love football and want to be part of something bigger, come join this beautiful family.
