Well, it wasn’t a great start to the week, with the whole of NZ going into the red traffic light setting 🔴 Fortunately for us & our customers, this means that they can still operate, just at reduced capacity & with some restrictions.

So, the team are out on the road again this week… 🚚 Checking in on our customers, doing some more updates & adding in new music & cleaning & maintaining our pool tables 🎱

Some of our sites have more than one pool table so it can take some time to brush them down and clean them properly, make sure they are level, check the cues & make sure they don’t need repairing or replacing, check whether the chalk needs replacing & if there are any other one off tasks that need doing, they will get done at the same time.

We offer Pool Tables on a lease or percentage hire basis so if you know of any bars, sports clubs, RSA’s, Taverns, or any other Recreational Clubs that may benefit from having a Pool Table, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Playing pool with your mates is a lot of fun & its also a great way to get a bit of extra money into your local Bar, RSA or Recreational Club.

Another Jukebox updated with some new music today 🎶
This is one of our Wallboxes which is located in the Bay of Plenty. It’s mounted to the wall so is up & out of the way & patrons of the bar pop in $1 or $2 coins to select a song of their choice to play.
The speakers are wired throughout the bar, to allow for guests inside & out to get the full surround sound experience 🎵 🔊
How awesome are the LED lights💡 around the outside of the box? 😍

Today the team visited the Matakana Island Recreation Club. This beautiful little island is situated just 20 mins by boat from Omokoroa & has approx 400 residents which live on the island.
We have a Karaoke & Jukebox machine here, as well as 2 Pool Tables for the patrons to enjoy. The club also has a sports field, a playground & is neighbours with the Primary School.
Also, if you drive to the furtherest point on the island, the Mount is just a short boat trip away across the channel…

Did you know that there are over 30 different Bars, Hotels, R.S.A's and Social Clubs that have one of our Karaoke & Jukeboxes in them, providing additional entertainment for patrons to enjoy?

Well, yesterday we took a drive to the Winterless North to the Onerahi Tavern & The Grand Hotel, Whangarei to update the music on their Jukeboxes and to check in with the team and make sure things were all running smoothly.

Fact about the Grand Hotel: - the original Grand Hotel which was built in approximately 1870, burnt down completely in the 1890s and was rebuilt in 1900. The current building was originally called the Commercial Hotel and was re-named the Grand Hotel after the 1953 Royal Tour of NZ by HRH Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, who stayed in the hotel with their entourage. The balcony from where the Queen waved to her subjects is still a feature of the hotel.
Next time you are in Whangarei, pop in and say hi and try a little Karaoke while you're there. 🎤
