This cake really tested me.

There was a point where I honestly thought I wasn’t going to pull it off. Things didn’t go to plan, I questioned myself more than once, and I was so close to giving up.

But I took a break, came back with fresh eyes, found another way, and kept going.

It’s not perfect, but I’m incredibly proud that I didn’t quit. Every challenging cake teaches me something new, and this one taught me that perseverance is just as important as creativity.

Thank you to my amazing client for trusting me with this special cake. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. 🖤✨

What a week it’s been! ❤️

From beautiful custom cakes to delicious snack platters and homemade favourites, this week kept me busy doing what I love.

This weekend included:

👗 A corset cake that truly tested my patience (and reminded me never to give up!)

A special Red Velvet birthday cake for Alyssa’s sweet 16! ❤️🎉

Designed around everything she loves…her favourite San Jose Sharks team and the books she loves getting lost in. Carefully handcrafted with fondant details and edible prints to bring her personality to life.

We also had the pleasure of creating snack platters for the celebration! It was such a fun-filled evening, and seeing the cake disappear so quickly is always the biggest compliment a baker can receive. 🥰
