Congrats to Wakatere club member Will Mason and Will Leech (CBYC) claiming 🏆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝟮𝟵𝙚𝙧 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 – 𝙏𝙤𝙥 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙊𝙘𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙖

They missed out on a podium spot at the Youth Worlds despite a strong lead up, including wins in Hong Kong and the Pre‑Worlds in Vilamoura but with only eight races over five days, they were caught out by a very light second day, plus one day lost to no wind and another to too much. They finished on a high though - a commanding win in Race 8 in a lovely 10–12 knots.

The OK Fleet is building some serious momentum ahead of the 2026 Harken Fremantle Nationals this January, and the entry list just got even more exciting.

We initially thought our Kiwi friends might miss this one, but they have rallied, and we are thrilled to officially welcome:

⭐ Simon Probert (OKDIA Vice President)
⭐ Greg Wilcox (the German based Kiwi legend!)

The competition just stepped up a notch and we could not be more pleased to see such a strong international contingent heading to Fremantle.

⚠️ Last-minute opportunity: A small number of late withdrawals means we have limited charter boats available. If you are keen to line up against a world class fleet, now is the time.
