Hello 🌸 I thought I should introduce myself to all my new followers. I'm Kelly the face behind Kakariki Flowers and co owner with my partner Paul who delivers all our flowers around the district 🚚.
Mid Canterbury is my home, I grew up on a farm out at Lismore. Growing up my parents were a huge influence on my choice of career as they were avid gardeners featuring lots of flowers and our vegetable garden was always huge!!🌽

Above is me in my wee shop surrounded by flowers and house plants and usually pets including Scout the large but very friendly dog. Our business operates from our home in Tinwald where in summer I grow seasonal blooms to use in our bouquets.
I have spent my whole life in the Horticultural industry, working overseas on large-scale vegetable farms and in the nursery plant industry also in a hydroponic salad and herb company then locally here for Kakariki Flowers learning about growing roses for cut flowers and floral design. πŸ’ πŸ’
