I think this is probably the best cake I have ever created. My MIL loves wine, pukekos and hoards toilet paper 🧻 😂

💖 The journey of life is an interesting one… You decide right I’m going to do this and go in this direction but the universe opens doors and opportunities in the opposite direction 🔮

This quote has some impact on my upcoming business change.

“You make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you give”

I have recently started a new job in the community sector and I am absolutely loving it. I have always been someone who gives to others, wants to help and bring people together.

I’ve made the decision to go back to how I used to enjoy baking and cooking, for things like fundraisers, bake sales, the community and family rather than preforming under pressure and on demand. Sometimes you decide to turn a hobby into a business and it makes it not fun anymore.

The rest of 2023 is very busy for me and unfortunately my business is not a priority for me at the moment so I am stepping back and taking a break. Will definitely be until the new year and I’m not sure what 2024 will bring. Maybe I’ll come back, maybe I’ll just share food ideas on this page. Who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

I won’t be accepting any future orders at this stage. All current bookings will be honoured of course.

I want to see where my community heart leads me. I’m happy to bring joy to more people through food without the financial gain.
