🌿 Here’s a typical timeline of my Saturdays as a Mum of 2 small people, a farmers wife, and a business owner all written down because I’m physically unable to talk into a camera like the cool people do 😅😂
6.30am wake up to the littlest yelling out ‘Muuuuummmmy’ in her high pitched voice
7am - cup of Yorkshire tea. I’m English obsessed. God knows why. I love Coro St too.
7.30am - I usually turn the ovens on. There’s always something to cook first thing. I also make the kids breakfast because my kids can turn hangry sooo quick. ESP the youngest. She’s a bit of a ‘hoot’ like me 😅
8.30am - Hilary arrives, life is sweet again. She will usually start on cutting/folding the meat before she washes and cuts veges, slices fruits etc. I’m on juggling the wee cherubs so I turn the TV on so they can watch Peppa Pig.
9am - I’ve had enough of listening to Daddy Pigs voice so TVs off for the day and they get their gears on to play outside. I’m cutting cheese and talking nonsense (as usual)
10.30am - I’m writing up where we’re off to for the day, who has ordered what, what time it has to be ready by etc. Hilary has started on the breads.
11.30am - Packing the car, including our utility boxes which knives etc, loading the chilly bins, Hilary is reminding me to pack rubbish bags (9 times out of 10 I forget them anyway!).
12pm - Husband rushes in, takes the wee cherubs out on the farm, Hilary and I are off adventuring around Canterbury. In summer we will do back to back grazing tables along with other members of our team.
4/5/6pm - hopefully we’re done for the day. We come home, do the bare minimum of clean up because we’re both knackered. Hilary heads home probably to a lovely clean house, I walk inside to world war 3. There’s some drawings on the couch that a little person is very proud to show me. Lovely. 🤣😳
6pm - if it’s not a fish and chip night then hopefully somethings in the slow cooker or more often than not it’s a sausage in bread kinda night!
7pm - absolute goal of being in bed snoozing but usually it’s folding washing or just the typical mum jobs.
7am Sunday morning - first thing is clean up before I flop on the couch with a cup of Yorkshire tea.
