The Hoods

A drizzly Valentine’s Day wedding ceremony at The farm chapel and Still photography managed to capture some stunning photos.
Marrying your friends is something else, I always pride myself on being able to connect with couples and deliver a ceremony that suits their style, but knowing the couple is the biggest privilege for me.
These gorgeous women deserved the best day and despite the rain, I think they would say it still was incredible!

Dearest gentle reader, I have been a registered celebrant for 5 wedding seasons. Privileged to be marrying beautiful couples in stunning locations throughout Otago and Southland…Lake Hāwea, Alexandra, Invercargill, Kākā Point, Wāimumu, St Bathans…to name a few!

I absolutely love weddings! I’ve been a bridesmaid 6times, finally had my turn being bride in 2023.

It’s important for me that all couples enjoy their ceremony, my job is to help you celebrate your love, help you relax, convey the romance, deliver the laughs and enjoy the happy tears. 🤍

Being a part of a couples day and tailoring a personalised ceremony where the focus is you and your love story, brings me so much Joy.

Enjoyed a very special Valentine’s Day at The farm chapel. Shame the rain had set in, but some quick thinking and many hands made light work to move our ceremony into the hanger. The view down the valley was still gorgeous, just like our brides. 🥰

The Brough’s
Argyle cottage is a fabulous wedding venue nestled in rural southland, great hosts created an incredible wedding for these two love birds.
Still have some dates available for 2025 💕

Wedding in Gore a couple of weeks ago at the Pioneer Park Chaple, such a quaint wee church. Southland rain was on show but fine enough to get some outside photos for the lovely couple ❤️
