It's more than a group of people living in the same geographic location.

What can a Central Otago Bespoke Elopement or Intimate Wedding package look like?
Well the short answer is, it will reflect what's important to you.

Susan & Nathan tied the knot last month. In the 4 months or so beforehand we put together a package that suited them.

Winter isn't usually Central Otago wedding season, but Susan wanted to get married while she was off work for winter, so July it was.
To make sure everyone was comfortable no matter what weather Central threw at them we decided on an indoor venue.

And they wanted reasonably close to home so it could be a relaxed day with their son.

We landed on Dunstan House in Clyde. The beautiful lounge is a private space decorated to fit the historic era of the hotel, and the the gorgeous staircase, entrance foyer and balcony gave them and their photographer Lisa Hill comfortable stunning photo backdrops without going anywhere. Some of the family even stayed on site in the lush accommodation.

To make it as low stress as possible I also organised the florist, Ruth at Skylark. Susan worked with Ruth to get the style she wanted, I booked, picked up and delivered the flowers to her in Omakau the morning of the ceremony.

And the hair & make up artists, (Kelsey at Mac It Perfect and Charlie of Makeup & Hair by Charlie) who arrived at Susan & Nathan's home in Omakau for a relaxed morning getting ready at home as a family.

Susan and Nathan decided to go out for dinner as a group, no catering required so other than making a booking for them at Oliver's in Clyde, I left them to it.

Susan wanted to ditch the stress of researching and booking vendors, creating a timeline, dealing with any unforseen events, basically organising anything other than their families.
With the help of fabulous local vendors I've worked with lots over the years and trust, we made it happen!

Did I mention i love my job!

Getting to be part of celebrations. Standing with people as they purposefully say 'what we have is pretty great, we're so lucky' is such an honor.

And there was cake! Thank you to Bespoke Kitchen for creating a delicious masterpiece to fit dietary restrictions for these two!

Where's your favourite place in Central?

This reaches into Maniototo but it's definitely my favourite.

Naseby is a gem! Amazing night sky (especially in winter), there's swimming, mountain biking, curling, a luge, my favourite scenic photographer ... but maybe most important for me a sense of slowing down and enjoying it.

I love the slow pace... but what's important to you when considering where you want to say I do (yes I can plan you a bespoke package here)

These brownies represent a little something I'm proud to do for my community.

I ake and deliver home baking to community groups a few times a month as part of Good Bi***es Baking.

Community is important to me. Whether you're talking geographically or the group of people I'm proud to call friends and family I do what I can to support my community.

The baking goes to community groups supporting people in need of a little help, a little care. I've been on the receiving end of such care enough times to know a cup of milo and a 'piece' (as my Nana would say) has its owning healing properties and certainly helps you feel loved.
