Are you our next housekeeping superstar?
Mt Vernon Lodge, located in Akaroa, is seeking a housekeeping team leader to join our dedicated team. Mt Vernon Lodge serves as a wedding, conference, and accommodation venue situated in a secluded and picturesque area, just minutes from central Akaroa.
This role is a full-time permanent position with a guarantee of 30 hours per week. The typical working hours are from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, five days a week, including weekends. We offer competitive industry rates of pay and a supportive, friendly working environment.
Candidates must be reliable, have a good work ethic, an eye for detail, and the ability to work on weekends. A current driver’s licence and a reasonable level of fitness are also required.
While cleaning experience is preferred for this team lead position, leadership experience is not essential. However, candidates should have the confidence and willingness to learn how to effectively lead a team to achieve optimal outcomes.
The start date for this position is flexible, ideally around the end of March. Although accommodation is not provided, we will do our best to assist candidates in securing local accommodation if needed.
