We are pleased to invite your esteemed district to participate in the Lions Youth Exchange Camp (YEC) Nepal 2026/27—an international program to inspire, connect, and empower young leaders.

The programme will commence on September 24, 2026, in Kathmandu Valley, where participants will spend the first five days living with carefully selected host families. This homestay experience offers an authentic insight into Nepali life while engaging participants in structured pre-camp activities, including:
- Cultural orientation on Nepali traditions, customs, and language
- Knowledge exchange on Lionism and international service practices
- Participation in community service projects alongside local Lions
- Celebration of Nepal’s vibrant heritage, including the Indra Jatra Festival
Following this enriching introduction, participants will travel to Pokhara—Nepal’s “City of Lakes” and gateway to the Annapurna region—on September 29, 2026, where the main camp will be held. In this inspiring setting, participants will:
- Build lifelong friendships with peers from diverse cultures
- Exchange ideas on leadership and community service
- Learn about the impact of Lionism in Nepal
- Engage in cultural and community-based activities
We kindly request each district to nominate a maximum of two (2) youth participants, aged between 20 to 25 years, who demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to community service.
