For an alternative way to Lukla flight, the only transport to Everest Base Camp is the jeep which is around an 8 to 9-hour drive to get to Salleri from Kathmandu. The distance is around 266.9 km from Kathmandu. The jeep will reach Phaplu Salleri. Phaplu is viewed as the entrance to the Everest Region by the street. Above all the street is open and most importantly people can go there via jeep to Bupsa / Thamdada / Kharikhola / Phaplu Salleri from Kathmandu.
