In Bergen, Norway, we are fortunate to witness what generosity can achieve through one extraordinary man: Trond Mohn.
He has donated more than 4 billion NOK — and continues to give every single year — to public health, cancer research, hospitals, youth sports, elite athletics, and opportunities for future generations across Norway.
From life-saving cancer equipment at Haukeland University Hospital to support for both grassroots and elite sports, his contributions have impacted thousands of lives.
That is why Bergen proudly honors him every year through an international athletics event — celebrating not only his favorite sport, but also the values he represents: generosity, community, health, and hope.
On May 28th, we will once again gather together with athletes from all over the world. More than 50 countries will be represented, with Olympians and world champions competing at Fana Stadion in Bergen 🇳🇴
On behalf of the citizens of Bergen and the Norwegian sports community: thank you, Trond Mohn, for showing the world what true legacy looks like 🌱❤️
