Kaka Sammy was born in Uvira, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He grew up both in the DRC congo and in Bergen, Norway.
He learned to speak Norwegian at the age 9 and do now deliver songs both in Norwegian and other several languages. He debuted as an artist in 2018 with the song “Dans med meg,” which received a great response from the audience, Music has always been an important part of his life, as he grew up singing and playing drums in church, which led him to start realizing his own music.

Later on, Kaka Sammy began having dance classes in bergen for both youth and adults in afrobeat, where he did it so successfully. He has performed on stages such as the Ole Bull Scene, the same stage where Tyga held his concert in Bergen in 2018. he has performed at the No Filter Festival and at USF Verftet both in Bergen & Åsane. He also participated in UKM, a talent show in Norway. where he showcased his songs for full Audience

His artist name “Kaka” comes from the Swahili language, which means brother or big brother, as he is a big brother to four younger siblings.

He is someone to watch out for because he truly understands music. He composes, produces and writes all his songs by himself. With his various styles in music and the fact that he speaks multiple languages, makes him able to take his music to an international level.
