Wij zijn een jong en dynamisch event styling bedrijf, opgericht in 2002 door de Zuid Afrikaanse Julia Duncan (BA - Bachelor of Arts). Het bedrijf was gevestigd in Amsterdam en sinds 2009 heeft het nieuwe kantoor de deuren geopend in Weesp. Vrij vertaald betekent Funk it Up!: Maak er iets buitengewoons van! In December (same day as the last post….yes it was a hectic day 😆) we styled another 90’s themed party for the European Medicines Agency who celebrated 30 years since their establishment in 1995 in London. We had 3 hours to transform their office canteen! It was a wonderful challenge.
We had vintage tv’s by with classic 90’s MTV music videos , a gorgeous Disco Dj booth by , a nod to the hip-hop scene with giant cut-outs of Eminem and Mike Tyson, bling chain balloons, hanging smileys and a separate area with a real English telephone booth from , British flag umbrella decor and oversized ribbons in a flag print in the giant Xmas tree.
This was such a fun event to style

Is it too late to wish everyone a Happy new year? Hopefully not…Happy new year beautiful people, clients and followers!

Last year was insane, our busiest year ever so needed to recover for the last few weeks. Am now back in full force with my lovely team!

Some behind the scenes of our Xmas 🎄 decoration set-up for the offices of
We designed a photobooth which was an oversized gift 🎁 box, wrapped lots and lots of pressies in newspaper 🗞️ print, wrapped magazines in pretty ribbons, decorated 30 trees including 20 hand-made wooden trees and tied many many bows in media print. Oy yes, we also made 18 paper chains from magazine covers for the 18 office pantries and a giant garland made with newspaper print. All custom-designed with a media theme. Made with love ❤️ 💚 💛
