Finally, I’m officially a FWS! 🎓🍷

I celebrated becoming a French W**e Scholar in my own way: with a bottle of Pinot Noir, my favourite grape, produced in my favourite place in the world… Le Marche, of course! ❤️🇮🇹

One more milestone to celebrate, and hopefully 100 more to come!

Salute! ❤️🍷

Sometimes, missing home and my family screams so loudly inside that there’s no way to silence it. ❤️

But sometimes you can give yourself a little comfort and bring a piece of home to your table.

So I cooked one of my mum’s dishes: cozze in guazzetto (mussels in sauce) and trust me, nobody cooks like her!

And there was one w**e I simply had to pair with them: Incrocio Bruni 54 from Vignamato, one of my favourite w**es from Le Marche, made by a w**ery that also made us feel incredibly at home when we visited.

With the first bite and the first sip, it didn’t take much to travel back home for a moment — cleaning mussels in the kitchen with my mum. ❤️

Maybe this is one of the things I love most about food and w**e: sometimes they don’t just bring flavours to the table.

They bring you home. 🍷🌊☀️

Last weekend, we hosted a fantastic — and thankfully very successful — Aperitivo Marchigiano! The stars of the afternoon were five w**es from the Marche region, paired with five traditional bites from this beautiful part of Italy. Of course, the event would not have been the same without the wonderful company of our guests and our talented Italian chef, Jhonny, who delighted everyone with his culinary skills, creativity, and warm personality.

For those who missed this special aperitivo, here are some delicious pairing ideas to recreate at home:

🍾 Olive all'Ascolana with lemon and parsley mayonnaise
Paired with Verdicchio Spumante "Maltempo" – Tenuta dell'Ugolino

🥚 Marinated egg on crispy bread with avocado and fresh summer truffle
Paired with Bianchello del Metauro DOC – Crespaia

🍤 Gamberi gratinati
Paired with Bianchello del Metauro Superiore DOC "Chiaraluce" – Crespaia

🥪 Porchetta with Cacciannanze focaccia and salsa verde
Paired with Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Superiore "Disinvolto" – La Follonica

🥟 Piconi served with tomato sauce and fresh basil
Paired with Lacrima di Morro d'Alba DOC – Mancinelli

💡Thinking of hosting an aperitivo at home? Let us help you turn it into an unforgettable Italian experience with our carefully selected w**es from Marche and some of the most creative Italian bites in Utrecht. 🥂✨

Behind every tasting there is much more than w**e.

There are people, ideas, passion, and a lot of preparation. We are incredibly lucky to collaborate with Gionata, an experienced pizzaiolo, a true volcano of creativity and professionalism whose enthusiasm is simply contagious.

Together we are creating an experience that goes beyond food and w**e: a moment to share, discover and enjoy authentic flavours from the Marche region.

Curious to meet him? Join us at our upcoming tastings and experience it for yourself! 🍷🍞✨

On May 3rd we travelled through different corners of the Marche region, discovering unique grape varieties, landscapes and w**emaking philosophies through the w**es of Crespaia , Tenuta dell’Ugolino, Guerrieri and Garofoli. 🍷✨

From the fresh character of Bianchello del Metauro to the elegance of Verdicchio and the structure of Marche red w**es, every glass told a different story of the territory.

Four w**eries, four different interpretations of Marche: diverse soils, traditions, visions and identities — all united by passion and a deep connection with the land.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this journey through one of Italy’s most authentic w**e regions. ❤️
