On May 3rd we travelled through different corners of the Marche region, discovering unique grape varieties, landscapes and winemaking philosophies through the wines of Crespaia , Tenuta dell’Ugolino, Guerrieri and Garofoli. 🍷✨

From the fresh character of Bianchello del Metauro to the elegance of Verdicchio and the structure of Marche red wines, every glass told a different story of the territory.

Four wineries, four different interpretations of Marche: diverse soils, traditions, visions and identities — all united by passion and a deep connection with the land.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this journey through one of Italy’s most authentic wine regions. ❤️

Dit jaar organiseren we samen met Villa Fonti, een prachtige plek in de regio Marche, een heel bijzondere wijnreis van 24 tot en met 28 september.

Op 3 mei ben je welkom op onze open dag in Maarssen, waar je ons kunt ontmoeten, wijnen en olijfolie kunt proeven en alvast de sfeer van de Marche kunt ervaren.

Het is een kleine groep, dus het aantal plekken is beperkt.

On March 8th we will welcome you as four passionate Italians bringing a piece of our culture to Utrecht.

Marco & Anneke: founders of Buon Appetito, a little paradise of carefully selected truffle, extra virgin olive oil and other authentic Italian delicacies (and truly warm people!).

Gionata: professional chef and one of the most talented pizza makers you’ll meet in Utrecht, with a deep love for traditional Italian cooking.

Ilaria: enthusiastic sommelier and wine advisor, with a special weakness for the wines of Marche ❤️
Our dream?

Creating small, intimate events where great food, beautiful wines and genuine Italian hospitality come together around one table.

We carefully select every product and wine, and design each dish to highlight the incredible flavor of fresh truffle.

Sunday 8 March — An experience not to miss.🥂👌

In collaboration with Utrecht and , one of the founders of Tutti Gusti Utrecht, we’ll take you on a sensory journey to Italy for a couple of hours.

The experience includes:

• A focused truffle masterclass led by Marco, founder of Buon Appetito Utrecht

• 4 refined bites with fresh truffle created by Gionata

• 4 curated wines from the Marche region, presented by Viae Vini

During the masterclass, you’ll explore this precious ingredient in depth and taste three different types of truffle, thoughtfully incorporated into unique bites.

An intimate tasting in a cool, alternative location in Maarssen.

Just back from my vacation in the Marche, I couldn’t wait to share this hidden gem with you.
La Follonica is a small, authentic winery in the heart of the Verdicchio DOC area, in San Paolo di Jesi.

Located on Monte Follonica—where the vineyard takes its name—its 2.5 hectares are home to vines over 50 years old, stretching from 350 meters down towards sea level, with a beautiful sea-facing exposure. Verdicchio, Trebbiano, Biancame, Montepulciano and Sangiovese grow here, deeply shaped by this land.

The founders, Leonardo and Lorenzo, are two friends who decided to make their dream come true. Warm and welcoming, they made me feel at home from the very first moment, sharing all the love, passion and dedication they put into their work.

Back in Fano for the holidays:

After a big hug with my family, I always run to my little cantinetta to check on my wines.

It looks a bit emptier now, except for this little pearl made from 100% Verdicchio Passito, from Tenuta dell'Ugolino. A fantastic reality not far from Jesi.

I bought it years ago during a wine school day with AIS, visiting the winery for a professional tasting.
I still remember being told it was the last bottle of that vintage. I couldn’t leave it there.

Years have passed, but the emotion is still the same. This bottle carries one of the most beautiful memories of my wine journey.
Maybe I’ll open it one of these days.

Because everything has its moment, and even if I’d love to keep it forever, beautiful wines — like beautiful memories — are meant to be shared 🍷

New year, new project.

Through this wine journey that never stops inspiring me,
I started thinking about how many roads have connected me to wine throughout my life.

A love for history, nature, culture, and my roots.
The joy and passion for good food, a great glass of wine,
and creativity at the heart of everything I do.

An ode to wine, and to all the roads that brought me here.
