I won’t sugarcoat it: this year was rough. Also unexpectedly rich.
A year marked by illness, loss, grief and a lot of painful inner work. At the same time, so many beautiful things happened too.
Highlights like playing at Paradiso, The Boom Room, Wolvenroedel, Burning Man NL, Kadinsky Sessions, ADE, Sunday People. The opportunities, the inspiring people I met, the new collaborations, the loving humans in my life, deep growth. Wow. A year of a lot, both ways.
A bittersweet symphony.
Without friction there’s no shine, as we say in Dutch. So here’s to a very glowy year ahead ✨
And that shine is already showing. I’m ending 2025 in a much better place than I started it, with more sparkles on the horizon.
